I say good for them on making $.

I just think the show is just an obvious and blatant rip off of Duck Dynasty. It is just A&E pandering to what it thinks is a level of redneck viewer that will watch anything with the same concept.

Well said. The only one in my house that find this entertaining is 10 years old

Wrong. There are several thousand acres high fenced

About 30,000 acres -- "fair chase behind high fence" - basically a quality hunting experience in a controlled environment - not much fair chase about it - I didn't know canned hunts qualified for B&C

My 12 yr old daughter loves DD but finds this spin off stupid. I tried to watch it made it to one commercial break and ejected. I predict a similar run as Cajun Justice or Shrimp Wars (the only good thing about those shows was seeing if I could tune my coonass ear so I could understand the residents from Dulac/Venice without subtitles – I haven’t lived in LA for 10+ yrs)

I would rather turn into a vegetarian Obama volunteer than hang around those dudes.

Are the Robertson's behind this new show? They seem to be promoting it heavily so I was guessing they were the ones producing it.

Before that area was purchased by the busbise folks, jakie bushman bought it and turned it into a place for disabled people to hunt. I believe it was called buckmaster dream camp. They put up the original fence. I know this because that was the first lease I was ever on and the 2nd year we paid our dues and they ended up refunding us because they sold the land to buckmasters. My wife's family hunted that area for many years.

What? It's about 1/4 of that that is truly high fenced. The bulk of the land is fenced on the highway side only. You can drive by and see for yourself

They own Synergy Outdoors, which just merged with Plano. I believe it's Plano-Synergy now. Much much more than just WGI

Most of these "reality" shows are awful. Another reason I dislike film subsidies. It's about producing something cheap that can easily make a profit.

I don't enjoy the show but have watched a few episodes. I'll admit that I truly am jealous. If I had piles of money, that's exactly what Id do, have a 50k+ deer ranch and an outdoor supply company. YAll keep hating though.
