Does she not watch Modern Family? Her fault for not having a back up turkey already cooking.

I bought a turkey and paid Popeyes to fry it. Tastes like Popeyes chicken. Everyone loves it.

Brillianf plan. Just cook a turkey in the oven if you have zero experience frying a turkey on Thanksgiving

How in the frick did you burn it? It seems impossible to burn a turkey by frying.

I am sure you can find an open Chinese restaurant.

Sad, but funny. Sorry for your loss.

If you injected it with garlic it's black because garlic burns easily. Never use the garlic injections. It may still be good on the inside!

Smart man. You used the old noggin to get out of next year's chore of cooking by fricking it up this year.
You have my respect.

I make my fudge in a big Magnalite pot.
1 can of milk
1 stick butter
4 heaping TBSP Hershey's cocoa (on the baking aisle)
6 cups sugar
Boil until soft ball stage (240 degrees). Remove from heat.
Add 1 cup nuts (optional), 1 tsp. vanilla and 1 jar of marshmallow cream.
Beat with hand mixer until it starts to get thick (5+ minutes).
Pour into greased cake pan.
Score top of fudge (to determine size of pieces) after about 1/2 hour.
Allow to cool then cut.

Our turkey is lame, but the hog head cheese we made last week is fantastic.
