Are you happy with the progression of the defense?

Offense has gotten so much attention that I think many have ignored how far our young defense has come. If Les is blamed for the O, does he get credit for the Defense? Just food for thought and trying to give that side of the ball some props.

Absolutely.

The defense has developed before our eyes despite some major obstacles.

Good post.

They've come a long way, that's for sure. Very impressed with the defensive corrections.

Yes the defense has really seem to come together.

Miles won't get any credit though because this retarded fanbase says that all the bad is his fault and none of the good is because of him.

Nah dude. That's because of Saban, the Chief, Beckwith, and Adams. Miles was trying to make our defense suck, but couldn't accomplish it. Maybe he should stop being the manipulative sociopath he is. You know he's pretending to be a retard right?

The defense has performed well since the AU game, and should perform at that level for the entire 2015 season.

Pretty much. Just still wonder why we get no pass rush whatsoever

It's a John Chavis LSU defense that can hold it's own with anybody. You give up 17 points on the road in the SEC? No problem because you are supposed to score 28.

Like all LSU fans I look forward to them hitting the field and hold my breath when the offense comes out.

Chavis has turned it around, but then again it was Miles who wouldnt start beckwith. Rt?

Still have trouble on 3rd downs, but i fully expect our d to start and finish strong next season with more experience all around. would help if hunter and alexander stay though.

I don't think that he has anything to do with the Defense. All of those rewards go to Chief.

The defense has looked great, but I think Miles was overly stubborn in giving Beckwith his chance.
He should get "credit" for his unwillingness to change along with credit for the "new product".
The similarities between the Jennings/Harris and Welter/Beckwith situations are obvious.

Without a doubt he has to get some credit for the defense, and they deserve props. Still doesn't change the way I feel about his involvement in the offense though.

No, if anything works, Miles had nothing to do with it.

The defense has come a long way the last few weeks. Of all the things to be upset about, defense is not on my list.

Defense steadily improved in spite of some tough injuries. For that matter, outside of the passing game, the offense improved until they lost Hilliard and Alexander. Fix the passing game to at least be average and this can be a NC contender in '15. Not to get it fixed will mean... well, they won't be a contender if they don't.
