It's still a really nice Ferrari.

Except the engine is missing.

You know, right where that QB goes.

This

I'm pissed off at the seeming lack of interest by him lately, but the revisionist history is ridiculous.

A 4x4 truck with a shitty transmission. It's capable of running over you, but sometimes has issues getting in to 1st gear.

Well, a Ferrari may be an exaggeration, but LSU had won two SEC Titles and two BCS Bowls including a BCS National Championship) in the four years prior to Miles' arrival. So let's just say it was an impressive car at the time.

I know this is your favorite rebuttal about what Miles "inherited" and that it wasn't all that great, but one day maybe you'll take a look at that roster he inherited and see its full of NFL players and a few first round draft picks.

A 1985 Yugo GV, a car that felt like it was built at gunpoint, and designed to make walking to work a viable option.

So what youre saying is that Miles is a better coach , at lsu, than saban was.because with all that talent you claim miles had sbana lost 3 games and the very next year miles went 11-2(7-1 sec)

Miles doesnt coach in a era where 3 losses wins you the sec west, like saban did in 2001( 5-3 in the sec ,won the west in 2001)

Who just so happens to be the same guy winning it almost yearly with 0 or 1 L in this much deeper and stronger SEC West.

So, by your rationale, it's not the HC, but rather must be the school/program, that is the difference and/or hindrance.

Or could subscribe to the theory many here have, that Saban, after Mia and return to NCAA/Bama, has astutely become wiser/savvier with the years.

When you win the SEC, it doesn't matter how many losses you have when you win it. Saban beat a Tennessee team that was cruising to play in a National Championship to win the SEC. Miles won his NC with two losses - does he not get credit for the NC because that is the only time that has happened?

Yes it does. Miles got blasted for losing 3 games last year , while saban is praised for 2001. Both teams lost 3 games but miles doesnt coach in an sec era where 3 losses gets you an sec west title.
