One of my friends has a wife who is the most miserable person I've ever met. She's mean and a wet blanket. Just a real piece of work. Her sister is mean too and is a cop.

I hope he doesn't because that mean he hasn't lost a child. And you don't know what you're tlaking about either unless you've lost a child.

So everyone can step away from the keyboard when talking about how a mother who lost their term child to cancer should feel "like three years" after.

Wondering if you could be a bit more vague with this.

There is some truth to this. Many women don't know what true happiness looks like. They are too focused on comparing their lives with others and looking at what they are lacking instead of being content and taking a good long look at what they have right in front of them.

No. frick YOU. You are a poxy whore with far too much self esteem for your frankly passable looks. I've taken shits with more wit than you. You really are a disgusting human being. A wasted nut on the part of your father.

I don't know what part of your sick soul is so broken that you mock the agony of a woman who has lost a child, but you are one of the most vile and wretched human beings I've ever had the displeasure to observe online.

You sicken me. You really do. You are a vacuous harlot incapable of human decency and empathy.

I take comfort in the fact that you will end up unloved, unwanted and alone.

Well that escalated quickly

Ok, this is my ex girlfriend's little brother. I stayed with her for a year longer than I wanted to because I couldn't break up with her while her little brother was dying of cancer and then died

I was up close and personal with everyone in the family. The mom appreciated me for listening to her tell the story of his death over and over. She told me that

I'm sorry, but at some point you decide that you have to continue living. I've talked to my aunt about it and my cousins. They hurt just as badly. But they keep living. They find the good in life today that they can

But my ex's mom refuses to move on at all. frick all of you judgers. But it's par for the course with OTers. Think the worst possible about what's posted as you can

I've talked to the mom recently about how I can't imagine what it's like to lose a son. And my son and her son were best friends. So I was hit by it from all angles

I just answered the op

Thing is, if I didn't have so much self-loathing & hatred, I probably wouldn't go to the gym near as frequently as I do.

If they are past a certain age... probably lost cause.

This is not factoring in divorce or death.

Assuming you have had a "normal" life with only first world problems, and choose to stay miserable because you are unable to seek happiness, it's a bad sign.

I understand what you are saying, but with the death of a child...that has to be the most heartbreaking loss ever. Add to that she likely feels guilt that she is still alive and her son is not. Maybe her coping mechanism is not moving on. May not be the healthiest way to grieve but everyone is different. I mean is she drinking heavily or doing other behavior that could be very harmful to her self or others?
