Dad invites daughter’s alleged rapist to dinner, tortures him to death

According to The Indian Express, the 36-year-old father in India was getting revenge on his underage daughter’s 45-year-old alleged rapist.
“He served him dinner,” an officer told the Indian Express. “After the meal, the father overpowered the man and tied him to a chair. He got heated tongs and burned the supplier’s genitals before strangling him to death. He came to the police station and surrendered himself.”
According to police, the 45-year-old alleged rapist is suspected of being one of two people that raped the victim two months ago when she was home alone.
The girl reportedly told her father the same day. The father said he had been planning it since he learned about the rape.

I saw this earlier this morning. The one thing that stands out to me:
His daughter said this, and he kills the dude.
I doubted the validity of the4 story, but if true, then this dad is a fricking idiot.

Dude, this is India and not Indiana we are talking about. Women are still expected to throw themselves into their husband's funeral pyres over there. This guy will probably get a stern talking to followed by a parade.

Hard to feel bad for the "alleged rapist" but I sure hope he actually guilty. I would feel about doing that to an innocent guy. But if he's guilty the farther should be give an award.
