Still waiting for the whole quote to be posted, but I can't help you if you don't think white people in Louisiana having a black president is an issue for them.
How can you prove this? Is there a study or something that you are holding on to that proves this assertion?

And if you think it's any different than white people in Vermont, New Hampshire, or Maine than I can't help you either. You seem to have a problem with truth and logic. The full quote is far worse than the last part.

Of course, Landrieu was insistent on the exact same point.
She's now repeated it.
So why all the contortions defending her statements as some sort of simple, innocent references to history?
Seems disingenuous at the least.
Landrieu obviously is stating precisely what you believe, that Louisiana is stuffed to the gills with ignorant, backwater racists and misogynists. I haven't lived in Louisiana for years. It certainly was not that way when I lived there. But admittedly situations can change.
Perhaps things have gotten much worse since I left the state?
Perhaps things have gotten much worse since the state elected, then re-elected Landrieu as one of only a modest number of females to have ever served as a US Senator?
But then I guess I'm confused, because if backwater bigot, racists make election of quality Senators so difficult in Louisiana, why with one exception, has every US Senator from Louisiana for the past 1 1/2 centuries been Democrat?
Puzzling.

Would having Al Gore as president be an issue for them? Yes.
Would having john Kerry as president be an issue for them? Yes.
What do all three have in common? Well obviously they're all black, right? Or, maybe if you and the cow were honest with yourselves you'd know it is because they are all Leftists.

You are silly making this stupid statement.
I oppose Obma just as I opposed lily-white Kerry, Gore, Clinton, etc etc.
It is the man's politics that earns him the antipathy of conservatives, not his skin color.
I will wager that FAR FAR more people support him solely because he is black than oppose him soley because he is black.
So which side is racist?

See...that's the problem, most white people (including myself) don't have a problem with a black President. We have a problem with his policies (which come obviously from his white half) and wish that Morgan Freeman was the President.

So what's the reason I thought GW was a retard? Was that because I was white as well?
frick, and I thought things were getting better. This shite will never change.
Did black people in the south vote for Obama becuae he was black?

You want that to be true so much.

I didn't vote for Obama. Just as I didn't vote for Kerry, Gore, Clinton, or Carter.
I was hopeful that President Obama could help us get past the original sin of slavery, and racism. I'm old enough to remember the last days of Jim Crowe. It's not something I'm proud of.
Beginning with the Skip Gates and the Cambridge Police, and most recently citing Ferguson in an address to the UN the President has made it clear that he is not President of all of America, just another exploiter of racial divide.
As far as Mary Landrieu. She really reveals her ignorance. Ever since Louisiana was a French or Spanish Colony women in La. maintained control of their property brought into a marriage, and were equal owners of any property acquired during marriage.
So she's a fool for saying what she did. Which is not a first.

We are so racist, and sexist that we only elected a brown skinned man as Governor twice, and a woman for Senator 3 times.
