Because in the stadium they looked awful. At one point borne had to announce for people not to throw anything on the field, I was sure he was referring to the refs.

I didn't think they were that bad.

Yeah they messed up on the whistle and that interference play over the middle.

There was some bad call and some student from the very top of the NEZ threw a white nerf ball or something, it made to the 2 yard line

Horrible on that first series inside the 10, seemed OK after that, although we never got to see either of Goudchaux's two unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.

I saw when they messed up the play clock, then soon after they blew the whistle when the play was still live? That was weird.

They seemed below average tonight. Not one of their better efforts. Which is a shame, both teams deserved better. The SEC deserves better.

Loved that they gave Ole Miss an extra 5 seconds on the FG attempt before finally calling delay of game

The refereeing crew was not bad although uncertain I'd want them calling kids bantam football game

There seemed to be a presumption against LSU and in favor of Ole Miss.

Honestly not that bad. The inadvertent whistle was no good but besides that that got a lot right.

The only question I had were all the personal fouls against the tigers. There were many times were they would show Ole Piss actions on the foul but never saw what LSU did. Oh and the inadvertent whistle...ugh, that was so unfortunate.

It was pretty one-sided. Slive's boys will always try to protect the get-two-in mentality. That long pass down the sideline right after they mugged Quinn was the same pick play that ND was flagged for against FSU. Late in the game we had an INT reversed on the same play from when Auburn mugged Early Doucet but was ruled since they knocked it away no PI

They were the oldest collection of officials I've seen in the SEC. I mean with the exception of the Referee those guys are all on Social Security.
Maybe they pulled seniority to get to do that game in a known "big game" atmosphere.
