would your allegiance remain with the USA or the new country that your state chose?

USA. Because I'm not a traitor, nor do I want to live in a shithole country.

It would be shitty. I'm being involved in a fight for something so idiotic.

Probably USA. They have a military established already.

I hate to say it, even as a proud southerner in the north, but a modern CSA would blow to live in.

I'd probably fight for the north if the south tried to do something to stupid.

Secession is pointless with the same population

If the big gov't lovers move up north, and the small gov't types from up north move down here, the you might have something

I would side with just about anyone who seceded from the US:

-The South
-Google
-My homeowner's association
-The Saints (probably not this year)

The US just isn't bringing much to the table.

Most likely the USA, but I guess it would depend on the reason for the secession.

If Obama declared himself dictator for life and the North supported him, I guess I wouldn't have a choice.

Depends on the cause really. If it just happened right now out of the blue, lolno.

It depends on whose side the Clintons and Rex are fighting for. If they are both on one side, im on the other.

What do you mean "remain" allegiant to the USA?

I'm not about to fight a war so some jackass in DC, Hollywood, or NYC can claim a victory and protect their interests.....and I'm not backing coastal interests over my own if it came down to choosing sides.

So yes, I would most likely side with whoever wants to split off.

Depends on what structure the new country my state went with looks like. I believe that power should rest more with the state than the central government, so if my state just wanted to join another federal government type structure then I'd rather just stick with the devil I already know.
