Are you trying to turn 47.5% into 47.5, or are you trying to turn .475 into 47.5?

drag the formatting all the way down to copy the formula
Posted on 10/22/14 at 4:40 pm to thedogman
is this your first time using excel?
drag the little tiny black box at the bottom of the formatted cell down your entire column and it should copy the formula

not at all
I have the info in the cell as .0012345 I need it as .12345000. The info is already in the cells and I understand I need to multiply all cells by 100 but how would you do it all at once
Posted on 10/22/14 at 4:44 pm to thedogman
Format first cell then drag that formatting down the column.

so do you need the new number in the same cell that its currently in? or can you go over a column for the new numbers?

Why would you accept the task if you have basically zero idea how to use excel?
Posted on 10/22/14 at 4:56 pm to Hammertime
just make the column narrower and narrower until you can no longer see the % sign
