I agree with Chris Christie, and I welcome him back to the spot light. He's far from my favorite candidate but I love that he pisses off liberals. He will make a great lightning rod.

Everything he said is factual and speaks to the view of reasonable and intelligent individuals who understand minimum wage jobs are for teens and students, not grown adults with families.
Problem is, supporters of higher min wage believe burger flippers have the right to earn as much as entry level professionals and recent college grad, but without the credentials and certifications.
We live in a world where we no longer encourage people to strive for careers, benefits and financial stability. Our world is one where people feel entitled to have those things brought to them.

Does the governor realize that if you raise the minimum wage to, say $10.00, its not just people who were making minimum wage that get a raise?

I'm not talking about takers. I'm talking about people who work as hard as anyone. I don't believe that there are enough good jobs out there for adults. And, of course, there are some good jobs out there that lack qualified applicants.
Raising the minimum wage is not an ideal solution. It's probably not a solution at all. But there are hardworking adults stuck working in these shite jobs, usually more than one, and to pretend that the issue is whether teens should make more money is a horseshite diversion on the part of a lot of politicians who don't want to say what they really mean.

Brilliant, slide the scale up for everyone. The net effect is inflation and you don't make anyone's situation better. You do manage to put the squeeze to retirees who's nest egg or pension is now diminished due to said inflation.
