to kill trees along highways? Does anybody know what they use? We do have someone licensed to apply it.

Not sure if its the same but find the stuff railroad companies use. I used to know the name of it but getting in my old age cant remember Comes in 55gal barrels but of course its hard to get your hands on.

Active Ingredient-- Imazapyr
If they are big trees probably this stuff. 2,4, D is a broadleaf killer, won't really kill big trees. Spike is no longer made I don't think..although I have some.
Arsenal is the branded name. There are also generics.
