He has good mobility that allows him to keep plays alive.

Way to throw him under the bus after one game. He's been awesome so far this season

He is a game manager when you can keep him in the pocket and force him to throw from there, but he becomes an elite passer and the most elusive QB when he can get outside the pocket.

Yeah, if you don't think he is one of the better QBs in the league, you don't know much about football.

Can't believe they have let Dallas stay in this game.

Will Russell choke or come through?

Stay tuned

Product of that defense. If that defense doesn't dominate he is a sitting duck. I've said it many times. He'll make a run and a fluke throw every now and then but he is no elite QB, nor will he ever be.

Keep him inside the tackles and he really is one of the worst starting QB's in the NFL.

Hmmm. . . An opportune time to make that claim - his worst game of the season.

He's not very consistent.

To be fair, Dallas had a great gameplan. First team all year to consistently use a spy and play man across the board.

When Wilson is allowed to run around, he is amazing.

Is this going to be a weekly thread from now on?

I swear, anytime I want to feel smart, I just come read the MSB's opinions on QBs. So many idiots with strong opinions.

Without reading the entire thing, let me guess the trajectory of this thread.

-At least 3-4 completely subjective arguments that relegate Wilson to be nothing more than a "game manager", whatever that means.

-Data is posted that directly refutes the above.

-People hopelessly cling to the "game manager" argument despite clear evidence to the contrary

-Thread dies a slow, embarrassing death until a new installment is presented next week.

I've been saying this for years. He doesn't have to throw for 300 or score 30 points. He's not elite.

He doesn't lose games but he can't carry the team like elite QBs can.
