Are you kidding? Anyone can win the Heisman, once they get the media love.

I get the original point. If you watched the game yesterday, did you really think Prescott looked THAT great, after he was casually tossing INTs on consecutive drives?

He did not discredit Prescott. Maybe a little with the TE comment

And the budget tebow comment. But I'm sure your white knighting is appreciated.

Dak is much better than a TE who can through. If you really believe that your an idiot. If he stays on pace for what he's done already hell most likely win the Hiesman. He already much better than tebow as far as nfl potential as well. Kids good just live with it and give credit where's it due.

Excellent troll post.

I'm just not seeing what y'all are seeing.

He gave credit for what Prescott is accomplishing this year. But was exactly right saying that a lot of our fans would have torn him apart last year and would have been pissed that we not only offered the 3 star player but continued to pay him.

What exactly are y'all reading? Or are you not reading? I think y'all read the title and assumed he went on to say Prescott isn't all that good. And well, that's not the case at all.

Let's not forget that Prescott would likely be awful at LSU given out track record for developing QBs

It has a lot to do with winning. This guy is a leader and his team is rolling. He may be only 6th in the league in passing yds, but he's 5th in rushing. He's a well rounded athlete that seems to be very humble. What's not to like about the kid?

If Gurley remains out, Dak is the front runner for the Heisman at this point and one of the best in the country. If you can't see that I don't know what to tell you

He is an average QB that is massive and can run. That is what separates him from others. Look at his numbers - he has playmakers that make him look good.

18-26 for 284
12-25 for 211
13-21 for 201
15-24 for 268 (@ LSU)
20-26 for 268
18-34 for 246

Those numbers are comparable for all the top tier SEC teams. Hell, even Aggie's numbers are pretty good and their team is garbage.

This is the truth. Like someone noted on a thread in the SEC Rant, Prescott gives you a great 3rd down choice that's hard to defend. He IS an excellent leader on a remarkable, once-in-a-generation Miss State team. That alone will give him much love, and if they make the playoffs, he likely wins the Heisman.

But he's not a great QB, not as of now. If Auburn wasn't bungling themselves, those picks he threw could have cost State the game. And they were easy picks.

He might just take MSU all the way. Think about that.

Tebow was on an already great Florida team, surrounded by blue chip talent. Prescott has made the entire MSU team better.

Gotta give the young man credit. He's played better than any other SEC QB this season.

HE is the reason that MSU is undefeated right now. He is electric on the field, and is fantastic at keeping a play going and converting third downs. You can label him as whatever you want, but he is a one man wrecking machine that may lead MSU to a national championship...and then they might not win 5 games next year.

Les recruited Dak in case you didn't know. If he was playing like that, and wearing purple and gold. This post wouldn't exist... He would be worshiped in Tigerland, and you know it!

if he was playing like this, the way he is now in his 4th year in the system, then yes, he would. thats not the point. the point is dickheads on here would have boo'd him and said he sucked for every game until this point.
