I'm pretty sure we all agree with the following three facts:
1. The SEC from 2005 to 2014 is the most dominant a conference has been over an entire decade.
2. LSU's 54 SEC regular season and SEC championship game wins from 2005 to today are more than Florida's 53, Georgia's 50, Alabama's 46, Auburn's 46, South Carolina's 44, Arkansas' 32, Tennessee's 28, Mississippi State's 26, Vanderbilt's 22, Ole Miss' 21, Kentucky's 20, Texas A&M's 12, Missouri's 10, and Sewanee's 0.
3. Les Miles has been the coach at LSU since the beginning of the 2005 season.

One of my favorite things about being an LSU alumnus is that I'm good at math, and when I place in front of me comprehensive statistics such as the ones listed above, I see nothing but sunshine. It is a very positive feeling.

How 'bout we enjoy a Tiger win Saturday so Florida doesn't catch up?

Think most that follow LSU know these stats. Better yet, if you log into TD.com after any loss you can read these stats over and over.
Whats the point of these broken record threads? Are you trying to keep people from jumping?

Eta I normally enjoy your threads and Im a Miles supporter fwiw.

Especially since those bastards have an all-time winning % against us that we can't do anything about now

They must have been pretty damn amazing back in the day.

It's great to stay positive but one can't help but look at our schedule and say.... damn, we in trouble. LSU picked the worst year ever to be as bad as they are. Everyone on our schedule can beat us. The future of the program IS in jeopardy whether you want to believe it or not. Miles might have the best record for now, but that will change after this season. Enjoy his past accolades while you can. It's fixin to get real ugly unless something changes. His excuses for not managing the clock bullshite is getting very old.

It was a cupcake compared to the West of today. LSU, BAMA, sometimes Auburn. That was it on our side. The East, outside of Florida, wasn't that great either. Now the West is stacked, and we aren't going to get by on 'just having way more talent' anymore.

One of my favorite things about this board are the misuse of terms. In this case, Sunshine Pumper.

From Urban Dictionary: sunshine pumper
One who fails to realize the reality of a situation, and instead continues to support/ballyhoo a person, program, etc.

I've highlighted the pertinent part. This term has been tossed around for years...YEARS. Anyone saying anything positive, or merely rolling out the stats as you have has been labeled a sunshine pumper.

The funny thing is...speaking positively about a positive situation is not pumping sunshine. If and when the program is in shambles and it's obvious to all and people STILL try and defend it, then we're talking sunshine pumping.

Until then what we've has has been whiny malcontents unable to accept that LSU, for all their perceived slights and hopes for an EVEN BETTER RUN THEN THE GREATEST IN OUR HISTORY, LSU has been the best it's ever been for well over a decade.

Downvotes take place over there>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

You're also excellent at run-on sentences.

Thank you for your continuing posts.

it is sad to see that the world is so negative. when i see sooo many unhappy people, i first have to turn to compassion. i imagine their nuturing was abusive in many ways.

but, thanks for your positivity!

It never ceases to amaze me how many "LSU fans" get so antsy and defensive when someone merely posts comprehensive statistics that tend to paint LSU in a positive light.

My OP contains 0 opinions. Only facts with which no one disagrees. With those facts, one may do what one will. It has been entertaining so far to see so many of what Have become typical reactions. Lotta real CORFers.

LSU won a national title in 1958.

That's got about as much to do with 2014 as Jamarcus Russell and Dwayne Bowe.
