D on the field to much, if we could get a first down from time to time. But where are the pissed off guys on D? J Adams, Kwon and Hunter like to bang but thats about it.

I agree w/ that, but that doesn't mean LSU is a 9-10 win team. The D cannot stop anyone w/ a pulse.

LSU set Brandon Harris up to fail with their play calling in this game.

This is such BS and I'm sick of seeing it

Harris couldn't complete SIMPLE throws last night. He sailed easy passes, likely due to poor footwork...and he admitted as much.

I don't care how "creative" the play calling would/could have become - he wouldn't have been any better.

And don't say "The spread's the answer!"

If he can't complete easy passes making 2-3 reads, he won't making 3-4 reads.

This is a result of attrition to the draft.

No, it isn't. Our defensive line is bad, and I don't want to hear about the "young pup" stuff. How about Spears, Hill, Dorsey, Brockers? They were all ready to play when they were young pups. We lack talent. Rasco and Hunter are at best average. We need to find some studs in the middle now. Hopefully, Valentine and Trey L are players. The great majority of our linebackers are not SEC players. Beckwith and Alexander are about the only legit backers that we have. I do like the secondary. Our O-line is very overrated. Our tight ends are not good. I do think our running backs and receivers are good. I think Harris can be a player and Jennings a capable backup.

I'm a little suspicious that the players are the problem.

We can start blaming the defense when our offense puts up more than 7 points in the first 3 quarters of an SEC game. You guys are delusional if you are blaming the defense. They aren't anything to brag about, but they aren't the reason we are losing.

He doesn't need to make complex reads, thats the point. Sumlin's offense requires 1-2 reads and they put up a shite ton of points/yards with QBs that have half the arm of Harris. Its all play calling and putting the ball in the hands of your athletes in open space.

No, no it's not the play calling it's the inexperience talent playing at key positions! Number 1 is at QB!This season will be a learning season for next year! Do Y'all remember Flynn to Bird with 10 seconds... but we scored ! Miles blew that play with 10 on the clock with two timeout..I know that play wouldn't have made a difference in the game .

Absolutely, I don't see how people can disagree with this.

I won't speak for everyone else here, but I'm not blaming just the D, the whole team is deficient (except special teams. They've been solid).

I'm just arguing that there's no way this is a 9-10 win team, even w/ A&M's offense.

It was 17-0 in the first quarter and we had given up 200 yards. We then scored a TD, and the very next drive, gave up a long drive for another TD. Before you could blink, it was 24-7. I don't want anybody to start that shite about them being gassed. If they were gassed in the first quarter, they are terribly conditioned.

Yeah........we're a 9 or 10 win team......if we substitute some HS games in for the remaining schedule......and the teams aren't too good....

I'll argue that a Chip Kelly led team would win 9-10 games.
