Who here recommending waders hunts more than 10 times a year? If you do then you know quality waders. Whoever says no neoprene has never stood nut deep in freezing wader all morning waiting on birds.
FYI I have two types. I have some nylon orvis silver sonid ones I use when it isn’t cold and I have a long walk. They are stocking foot waders.
I have some POS neoprene drakes(I get a new pair every year because they don’t make the year warranty) this is what I use when hunting cold weather.

Me. I like Macks because they hold up, have a simple design, and allow freedom of movement that some other brands don't. My last pair of Macks lasted three years averaging 30+ hunts a year. I'm sure there are other good brands, but these are the best I've owned.

We're talking about marsh/field hunting south TX, not standing in Arkansas timber.

Cabelas, lifetime warranty..love mine. Seem to be holding up well, I wear em almost every hunt i go on. Cheap and the word waders do not go together..just like all watefowl gear you get what you pay for....

I'm not at all, just saying that's irrelevant because he's hunting TX marsh

The best I've ever had was a pair of neoprene hodgman's that finally wore out after over 10 years of hard hunting.

Done it in neoprenes and done it in breathables with layering underneath - prefer the latter option. Hunt public land and often am standing in nut-deep water. Would rather the breathables 10/10 times, no doubt. I don't sweat walking in and setting up, and I'm plenty comfortable standing there.

Quit buying pos drakes and buy Columbia and they last. I make 30-40 hunts a year fwiw.

If you paid 500 dollars for waders you deserve a swift kick in your cocksucker. I'm poor FYI.
