He has 6 carries this season that have gone for 20+ yards. He has been great all season. He would be the best RB in the SEC right now had we given him the carries out the gate.

Gettin' his groove on now. I think last night--away from home against an SEC opponent--he finally realized, "I can do this shite. Ima do some serious damage before I'm finished."

And really dug the way Jessie Palmer kept pointing out how much Beast Potential the kid has.

I am impressed by the difference in him from week to week. He was very strong against UF. The kid is on track to great accomplishments at LSU.

He is however very fast for his size.

His 100 meter dash is fast FOR ANY SIZE. He won the LA. State title in the 100.come on

A true freshman who is not playing up to the expectations of half the LSU fan base who thought he was a lock to play like Eddie George during his 5th NFL season.

The jury is still out. But he's doing well considering his oline and opportunities.

The change in the blocking scheme has hurt all of our RBs. Clearly LSU's veteran OL and TEs didn't pick it up very quickly..they seemed to be better last night and magically LF and TM looked much better. Fournette will have an outstanding career at LSU. Maybe not winning any trophies in NYC, but I wouldn't rule it out either.

- Best back on the team

- Will be the best back in the SEC in time

- Needs to stop returning kick offs

No doubt. Just seems like we're trying to force it.

With limited carries he's done very well. Each game his vision has gotten better, and his pad level is getting better. He's running with power, speed, and vision. If the o line blocks, and we give him 20+ he's going over 100 far more times than he won't. We just started really giving him the ball, and to run for 140 on Florida front seven is nothing to scoff at.

not taking a dig at the young man

he is stellar when doing normal RB things

but on kick offs... it's just strange

LITERALLY ran right in to one of his blockers last night, with like a 5yd head of steam. Just straight into him. IDK.

I'm no football coach, unlike all the other rantards... but you want someone agile, shifty, and fast... slippery almost

Dubose or w/e from UF fit that bill, Holliday was perfect for that role when he was here. That's the kind of player you want. Not a big power RB.

Looked much better last night, OL has to block for any back to get going. Quill had a nice game at RG , opened some creases for him.

Getting better each week. Seems to be finding the game better and breaking tackles better. By the end of the year I expect a vast improvement over the beginning of the year. His two TDs were great; running over a defender then carrying them into the end zone and leaping over the pile were both good to see.

Future LSU legend
May get close to a heisman in his 3rd year, but likely won't win it. Regardless, top 5 CFB back over the next 3 years.
