They cannot stop anybody, so no surprise there!

I'm sure it has been discussed, but why hasn't he been cleared by the SEC when he has been cleared by the NCAA?

No way the SEC standards are TOUGHER than the NCAAs

Has it been discussed that maybe the SEC is helping the kid by keeping quite? Maybe they feel his transcripts are suspect and have talks with LSU to let him stay in college with the understanding he will not participate?

Ok I have a question. Do football players have different criteria to be eligible to play then say regular students have to just be able to take classes?

If he is taking classes at LSU and the university said he is good to go and continue taking classes, what is the hold up?

If this is a transcript issue, wouldn't there be an issue with him being in class, on scholarship, and all that too?

I have a friend who plays DB for LSU and he said the exact same things about Valentine. Overweight but no one can move him. Very strong.

This is my first post here so TIFWIW. My friend gives me some info, but as a team they keep a lot inside the walls.

Ask him about Trey Lealamatafao. I heard great things about him before injury. He is back practicing now.

I don't believe the 372 weight. Hell, Vince Wilfork is rumored to be around 350-360.

Hopefully will be cleared by the time we play Auburn/Florida. If so, he WILL NOT redshirt!

And they'll never see him coming.

Does he wear a ULM jersey at practice?

I actually got this.

That is the first thing I thought of when I read "filthy animal."

He (my friend on the team) just text me back on Trey Lealamatafao. He said "he's ok". I might be having dinner with him and another DB on the team next week so I'll try to find out more.

Except Herman Johnson when he was at LSU. Herm had him stymied most of the time when he was lines up across from him.
