I love a balanced ipa. Especially the double ipas. I don't. Apologize for it.

Somebody had some explanation that escapes me now.
They use Colorado malt if I'm not mistaken.

I did taste what your talking about... I didn't realize those bcbcs would do that. Was still good but did seem to be a tiny bit spicey
I can't speak for ft, but I wasn't messing with you
So Mizado...the scallop ceviche was absurdly acidic, to the point that it unbalanced the flavor. Far too much citrus. It would linger and burn on your tongue in a less than pleasant manner.
India Guacamole was an outstanding consistency, but tasted too strongly of cumin for my palate. Girlfriend loved it, however, and really enjoyed the sweetness of the banana puree.
Pork belly stickers were AMAZING. Best thing we had. The four of them vanished almost instantaneously.
Tuna tataki was really solid. We had plans to order more, but we were too full. I'm sad we didn't get to sample the tacos.
Moved on to a "Wabbit Smash" -- margarita with carrot and basil.
Got home and she finally got to try the Liquid Bliss. So solid.

FBD - GOAT.
This is excellent. This is a world class DIPA. Makes me feel like I'm in Oregon or something...
The nose is excellent. The hops - grapefruitiness with a low level bitterness on the backend. This is real good. Congratulations are in order for Parish Brewing.
Definite upgrade from the first time around, IMO.

NBD - GOAT
NBD - Punkuccino by Elysian. I'm not a big pumpkin fan, but got this on a recommendation from a friend who's opinion I respect. This is really good. The aroma of coffee and pumpkin spices is fantastic. I get pumpkin up front and I'm not liking it, but then the spices kick in (not to heavy) and the finish is where the coffee is the star. Really nice beer.
ETA: I can't stop smelling this beer. Fantastic...

The best part IMO. The smell is the most important component of any beer for me. This version is a couple notches better than Round 1 for sure.

SBD was a Jolly Pumpkin Bière de Mars. Nice bretty funk with a tinge of acid.
Tbd was a sweetwater white IPA. Surprisingly good. Very good aroma and a decent taste to finish.

You son of a bitch. You just did that because I asked about it last night.

I love a good nose on a beer.
When you get to Portland, whenever that is, you'll really enjoy Barley Brown's beers. They smell so frickin' good.

I believe you were asking about Night Owl.
I picked one up and was going to put it in a box that I will be sending to Yeezy. I was going to hint to him strongly that you would really appreciate it if he threw that one your way...
ETA: I'm not a big pumpkin beer fan. Having said that, Elysian is the king of pumpkin beers, as far as I'm concerned. I generally can't drink more than an 8 oz pour of most pumpkin beers. Night Owl and Punkaccino are exceptions...
I'm surprised you remember that you asked about it last night...
