Better show: Cheers vs Fraiser

These two, along with The Cosby Show, are my favorite sitcoms. Fraiser Crane is my favorite sitcom character of all time. I cannot, however, decide which show I prefer the most. I recently 2 months ago) began watching them from the beginning. I am currently on season 4 of both
What say you?

I'm a Cheers person, but I like Frasier a lot.

Cheers seems like a show that could premiere today and still make people laugh.
While I like Frasier, it has not aged well and today would look no different than the garbage that CBS has been selling for decades.
I say Cheers

Liked them both, but don't see how it's up for debate.
Frasier relied on tightly wound plots and rapid fire dialogue, and came across as heavy handed at times. Cheers made it look easy.
Cheers or me.

Cheers, and it's really not close

Cheers is the answer, but Frazier was a really good show.

Frasier, only because Cheers was nearly over by the time I started watching it.

I disagree

I know that the overwhelming answer for "better show" will be Cheers, but I personally frasier by a mile. I never really got into cheers much, but I love frasier.

Probably Cheers. Perfectly cast and acted show.
But...
Disagree with this completely. Only similarity that Frasier has to the CBS comedies is that it is a multi-cam sitcom. Frasier's strengths were in clever wordplay (something the Lorre shows do have to a degree), an extremely strong cast, and perfectly constructed farce.
I can't think of a recent sitcom that does farce better than Frasier did it (however the Modern Family Las Vegas episode deserves a mention in this regard). I think MF has gone downhill on the whole over the last three or four seasons, but that particular episode was constructed and executed perfectly. But still, not the level of consistency that Frasier was able to pull off weekly.
TL; DR - Frasier and Cheers are both in the Top 10 of situational comedies (maybe all-time, definitely last thirty years). Cheers > Frasier but barely.

Cheers by a country mile...watched a rerun last night. The one where Carla told Dianne a "secret" that Sam was the father of one of her kids to see if Dianne could keep a secret...of course she couldn't.
Woody, "How's it going Mr. Peterson?"
Norm, "It's a dog eat dog world, Woody & I'm wearing Milk Bone underwear."
Having been born in '70, my top sitcoms of all-time are Happy Days, Cheers, Wonder Years, Seinfeld & How I Met Your Mother...Frasier was good, but not in my top 10.

Sam: "Hey Norm! What's the problem?"
Norm: "Terrorists! They have taken control of my stomach and are demanding beer!"
