Hyundai's are awesome and Santa Fe's hold onto their value pretty well in the last 6-8 years.

Get a new GF.

I bet you'll make that Sante Fe look good though.

I thought Nissan were the ones that sucked? Personally, I like the Maxima (had one as a rental for a week) but I heard they didn't hold up well.

Never heard anyone complain about the Hyundai FWIW.

Not at all, but the Santa Fe is one of my least favorite SUV/cross over body styles. It's terrible.

Nope. Also have one of the best warranties out there as well.

Sonatas are slowly trending toward a specific demographic.

I've considered them but Mazda wins out in my analysis in MPG, performance and aesthetics. Price isn't much diff.

“How do you double the value of a Hyundai? Fill it up with full tank of gas"
- Jay Leno 1994

In 1994 Hyundai was ranked dead last in JD Powers Associates survey. Times have changed after 20 years.

I would take a Hyundai over a Nissan. Nissan's have a lot of issues.

Apparently you don't know anything about cars, hyundai has won quite a few awards and are generally considered great cars

Some family members had a Sonata that was awesome....but my parents had a Genesis that was the worst car they've ever owned. My brother had an Elantra in college that was cheap and ratty as the worst car you've seen, but it only left him stranded once in the 100,000 or so miles he put on it. Not bad for a $13,000 car.

So I think they've improved, but I would not trust them with complicated products.
