Just make sure you take the contacts out if they are only daily wear.

One can get a NASTY eye infection if you leave daily's in too long.

Can't trust a man that wears glasses

And I'd never date a chick that wore them

Wore glasses/contacts for years, but got Lasik as soon as I could. By far the greatest thing I have ever done.

I gots me some bifocals. I can't get used to them.

Anyone who wears glasses use the Varilux lenses? I wonder if they will make it easier to adjust?

I take it from that that you are far sighted? Need them mostly for reading?

That's me. The vari lenses are ok (bottom is for reading, middle for stuff like computer screen and top clear for seeing far). Though to be honest, for the vast majority of things, a cheap pair of reading glasses is fine for reading and just take them off to see far - I find when I'm not reading something I prefer no lenses to the top clear portion of vari lenses.

I hate glasses. I needed them at age 18. At 30 I got lasik. At age 45 my nearsightedness came back (poor distance). I went back to glasses. Contacts are a no-go. Shipyards and contacts don 't play together well.

I'm just a lil nearsighted so I can see fairly well without glasses or contacts. They just make things look sharper to me.

I wear glasses to work and either glasses/contacts when I'm driving at night, watching tv or go out to the movies, etc.

Nah I don't have any glasses pics where I look cute in them. At least not current ones.
