Jennings will start and Gordy has been to every scrimmage. Depending on how game goes look for Harris in 2nd qtr at earliest.

He doesn't know, it's just the obvious answer

I'm shocked. Shocked I tell you.

There is no cat, no bag, no secret and no surprise.
Both will play and who plays last is more important that who plays first.

well ya know there always was a 50/50 chance....or is he just a miles conspirator and helping spread rumors for him to throw Wisc off?!

Say what now? How would that move differentiate Miles from nearly ever other experienced football coach? That is, going with a guy that has at least one collegiate start and one full season in your program to start the first game of the season instead of a true freshman who this time last year was in high school?
I think Harris, eventually, takes over...but this is the safe move that almost EVERY coach in the country would make. For frick's sake...Saban continued to play Randall when it was apparent to all that Russell was the future and had already demonstrated his ability in his second half and eventual OT victory over OSU in 2004. And when the local paper ran an online fan poll asking fans which guy they thought should start, Saban ripped the media a new a-hole for even asking...and fans defended Saban.
Going with the older guy, at least to start, is not exactly something specific to Les Miles.

Somewhere along the lines of all of this, right chyea.

If true, I'm glad. We will need both this year, either because of injury, or one having a bad game. No need to discourage Jennings, or put pressure on Harris.

Brandon Harris would have to be head and shoulders better than Jennings to get more playing time in the first game. We aren't playing a rent-a-win. You have to go with Jennings because you know what you have. Harris was playing against 16 and 17 year olds this time last year. What if he is a turnover machine? What if the lights and cameras turn on and he forgets everything he's been coached and goes for the home run ball every pass?
It's going to be Jennings mostly tomorrow, and the next week you might get a true "split" of reps at quarterback.

Is it just impossible to believe that just maybe Jennings improved from last year?

All this means is Harris hasn't completely out played him.

Marcus Randall started every game in 2002 after game 7. He was the QB in the Bluegrass Miracle game remember? Then he played in quite a few games in 2003. In 2004 he was a 5th year senior.
Jamarcus was a RS frosh.
How in the world can you compare a 5th year senior with 6 starts and a lot of playing time outside of that to a player that started 1 game and had a few snaps outside of that?
