re: Chris Matthews: Democrats' Dilemma If Rand Faces Hillary In 2016

Hillary will not be the nominee.
Warren is going to come out of nowhere like Obama did in 2008.
And then watch herself lose to Rand in a gigantic and astronomical landslide with the slim possibility of it rivaling Reagan's 84' election victory.

I'm not so sure about that. Rand won't be able to get to the left of Warren like he can with Hillary.

That would be awesome. Really hope this happens
She doesn't have the intangibles that Obama had, but that might not matter if the GOP continues to screw the pooch in selecting viable candidates. Rand would be the best option, but I think he goes down in primary season like Hilary.

Who would want to get to the left of Warren? You couldn't fit a piece of paper between her and Marx.

Doubt that the country is looking for someone to the Left of Senator Warren (if that candidate can even be found).

Maybe not on certain social issues, but what about foreign policy? I don't know much about Warren in that respect.

you have to win more than just the deep south and Texas to become POTUS

And you have to win more than the Northeast. Warren would have a tough time winning Minnesota. Or Ohio. I know the racial President experiment turned out so well that some of y'all think you can replicate it with a woman President experiment. Warren is no Obama. She can't evoke or invoke the way he did before he quit his job. But I recommend y'all run her to make sure.

If she ran i think she would be very dangerous but i doubt she does so it doesn't really matter

She's dangerous like Michelle Bachmann was dangerous. They're both fringe candidates who get a certain segment of the base excited and have extremely limited appeal outside of that segment.

True believer in what for Hillary? She is far far far from a true believer.

This shows just how out of touch you are with most of America but again she probably won't run so it's a pointless debate

This shows how far you are out of touch. She would get destroyed. A very small percentage of Americans are as liberal as her.

No, it doesn't.

DS, get real. Do you really think Warren appeals to the American people? She excites New England tenured professors, and that is about it.

Who would win in a Santorum v Warren race?

Not the American public. What a nightmare.
