Funniest Female Cast Member Ever on SNL

There have been some extremely funny women over the years on SNL- Gilda Radner, Molly Shannon, Rachel Dratch, Anna Gasteyer, and most-recently, Kristen Wiig.
To me, by far, the funniest female ever was Cheri Oteri.
She had so many memorable hilarious characters:
The prescription drug addict lady
The porn star with the live cable call-in show
The "get off my yard" old lady
The "simmer down now" fast food worker
and everyone's favorite:
The cheerleader Arianna (with Will Ferrell)
Her Barbara Walters impression was perfect too.
She hasnt done much since she left SNL, which surprises me.

Poehler
Wiig
Would Fey be considered a cast member?
Gasteyer
The recent cast was dominated by women. It was the best female group they've ever had.

I think Kristen Wiig is actually underrated. I know people hate her because she was in almost every single skit for a long time, but she is mega talented for a show like SNL IMO.
Oteri was pretty good, but there was a strong cast of women back then. Molly Shannon, Ana Gasteyer, etc.
Here is a list of SNL members in case people need to remember names: LINK

Was she in sketches?
I consider her to be more of a writer, not really a cast member.

Rachel Dratch
She was over the top but was in a lot of very funny skits.

I think Kate McKinnon who is currently on the show is really funny.

Fey was only a "cast member" when she did weekend update.
I saw Aidy Bryant and Vanessa Bayer (and Tim Robinson) the other night at Upright Citizens Brigade. They were all hysterical.

Tina Fey gets most of the love amongst the women because she was a phenomenal writer for the show.
I'm too young to comment on Radner and Curtain, so as far as regular sketch members go I'd have to say Dratch. I'll take her deadpan humor over most of the zany characters the others played.
Debbie Downer is still one of my favorite sketches ever and she made Fallon disappear as Zazoo

Did they ever find a successful vehicle for Ellen Cleghorne?

ZAZOO!
McKinnon is the reason I still DVR SNL. She cracks me up, especially as Bieber.

Good call on Jan Hooks
I like Amy Poehler a lot, but to me she truly blossomed after her run on that show.

There have been some really talented women on SNL.
If could only choose one, I'd have to go with Gilda Radner. I still laugh at Rosanne Rosannadanna.
That's not taking anything away from the other female cast members.

Why does she keep getting these accolades?
Name one thing she wrote.

Gilda Radner was the GOAT.
Jane Curtin was up there as well.
