2012-2013 Odell Beckham
2011 Tyrann Mathieu
2010 Patrick Peterson
2007-2009 Trindon Holiday/Chad Jones
2006 Buster Davis/Early Doucet
2003-2005 Skylar Green
1999-2002 Dominick Davis
1996-1998 Kevin Faulk
1993-1995 Eddie Kennison
It's crazy how well this state has done producing talented skill guys. These guys deserve a Wall of Fame.

Don't know the exact years, but they were before Eddie Kennison a bit. Todd Kinchen was good and returned punts in the NFL. Just a little guy but I remember T Casanova and C Burns in the Ole Miss game in 1970.

So who is it this year? Hmmmmmm???

FTR - '06 wasn't a good yr for punt returns. Chevis Jackson began the season as our PR and flailed around for the most part. Buster looked pretty good later on in the season. I don't recall Early returning many punts. Refresh my memory.
ETA: I'm sounding way too negative. Great post by the OP and yes we've had a run of some incredible returners.
As others have noted, one could add:
Todd Kinchen
Norman Jefferson (pretty sure he took one to the house vs OM in Miss. Memorial Stadium in '83 in a losing effort - his return was still awesome.)
Tracey Porter
Craig Burns/Casanova

Is Doucet the only one on that list without a return for a TD?
Also still remember Mo Claiborne's KO return for a score vs WVU. Killed their momentum real quick like.

2006 sucked compared to the rest. Doucet was used to fair catch a lot due to drops from others. Skyler Green dropped off a lot later in his career too. His is still dead to me after his Bama comments in 2007.

The only thing I want in a punt returner is sure hands. I don't care if he fair catches every single punt, a muff like OBJ's against UGA is more costly than the chance for breaking a long one every now and then. Now OBJ had pretty good hands and he just made a mistake, but I'd be weary of picking the most explosive guy back there in lieu of security.
