I know I know its way too early to predict this, but there are websites all around already doing so...not for freshman so much, but for all other classes yes. Trying to optimistic as well. Our DB coach is incredible, just hope we can hold on to him.
Jefferson and Thompson (who was on preseason lists before his injury became well known) will atleast get looks as special teams guys...please reference Alfred Blue and James Wright. Jefferson has to see the field more. He's finally picking up the nuances.

When it's all said and done the current LSU DBs could have 10 NFL draft picks

Who can also say that? ever? It's staggering...
Mills
White
Collins
Robinson
Adams
Thomas
Jefferson
Martin
Thompson
Paris
Battle and Voorhies might turn out to surprise as well
Also, when LSU DBs get to the league, they shine, whereas not Bama, Auburn, Georgia....well maybe Florida but not even close to the Tigers. Tiger backups, nickel and dime backs like McCray and R. Brooks are quite productive.
This should be highlighted on all recruiting materials.

so why was he the subject of so much pre season talk?
True..but all LSU has pulled from AL is Kwon and C. Neighbors...just saying...
How many passes did your boy complete against big 10 secondary?

Again, lets not fool ourselves about our walkons..
sounds like a sound excuse...and more Les style smoke screen...which I admire..you can do this in NCAA play, not NFL, so why not?
What happened to Herron?..
Posted by turnage on 9/1/14 at 9:37 pm
and Gilmore?? They combined for zero snaps? Les's smoke screen at his best or injuries? discipline? not ready?
He has proven to play well against Big 10 competition, ie Burt's "ARkansas" team, Iowa and Wisconsin...no SEC type scary talent yet...food for thought
Here's why, for you...not the other short sighted commenters on this thread:
-No way we have both Jennings and Harris on next year's roster, and I'm betting by the spring the team only has 1 QB on scholly...read that again...a school like LSU has one scholarship...that's never acceptable, anytime of the year.
-A JUCO guy can come in, with post-high school game experience, if Harris gets hurt and we won't have to play a lightly recruited true freshman.
-Let's no kid ourselves about any of the walkons
Shall I continue?

Former West Monroe standout and current Alabama true freshman Cameron Robinson hasn't waited long to make a splash with the Crimson Tide, as Alabama coach Nick Saban released his depth chart on Monday, and Robinson is listed as the starting left tackle for the Crimson Tide.
The 6-foot-6, 323-pounder finished his stellar high school career last year with the Rebels, earning a No. 2 ranking in Jimmy Smith's Class of 2014 Nifty 50 Rankings.
A trio of juniors and former Louisiana prep stars join Robinson as starters for the Crimson Tide. Landon Collins, who prepped at Dutchtown, is listed as the starting strong safety. Bradley Sylve, who shined at South Plaquemines, gets the nod as a starting cornerback. Former Bastrop Ram Denzel Devall is a starting outside linebacker.
Sophomore Raheem Falkins (Carver) and freshman Cameron Sims (Ouachita Parish) are listed as backups at the wide receiver position, and freshman Laurence "Hootie" Jones, who prepped at Neville, is a backup safety.

...they team will need to potentially start an Ivy league walk on QB...or a walk on from John Curtis who is 5-7 160 pounds...if you catch my sarcastic drift...
anyone on the radar? maybe a 5th year / no sit transfer?

Another reason not to put so much emotional stock in recruiting, especially QBs

14. Gunner Kiel, Cincinnati. Remember him? Kiel was a breathlessly hyped high school prospect who committed to Indiana, signed with LSU, wound up at Notre Dame and then transferred to Cincinnati – all before playing a down of college football. Kiel comes from Southern Indiana, which is not exactly Florida in terms of a prospect breeding ground, so there are skeptics still waiting to see if he’s the real deal.

He has always run a legit 4.6
good one, always think about Clark W. Griswald and his white shoes given to him by cousin Eddie when I see Les sporting those.
