that you know is outside of his jurisdiction do you slow down anyway, maintain speed or speed up?
ETA: By speed up, I'm not suggesting anything more than 5-10 mph beyond the posted limit.

Maintain speed...which is almost always 3-5 mph over the posted interstate speed limit.

slow down anyway if im above the speed limit....don't want to give them any reason to pull me over if its avoidable.

I get in the left lane and slow down to the speed limit

i basically ignore them if out of their jurisdiction. i usually stay about 7-8 mph over the speed limit. i probably treat them with a little more caution than your average other driver though.

I tag 'em on my Waze app.

if I'm on the interstate, I generally have my cruise on 5-7 over the speed limit
I don't slow down when I see a normal cop, unless I know the place is a notorious speed trap

You hit the brakes like everyone else does. Even if you are already going under the limit.

Like a Jefferson Parish cop in BR, traveling and not on the shoulder?
I slow down to about 5 mph because above the speed limit until I see where they're from, I usually set the cruise on about 10-12 above.

I maintain my speed no matter what. You idiots/pussies that keep speeding up and slowing down need to just drive the speed limit in the right lane or get the frick off the road.

You know what drives the hell out of me....People that do 71 in a 70, but 71 in a 55 mph construction zone.

I think cops can still pull you over if they are close enough to their jurisdiction.

I never maintain more than about 7 mph over the speed limit on any interstate, if the speed limit is 80 mph I don't go more than 85. I would rather just cruise control than break and accelerate a ton every time I see a cop.

Got an answer for that. On I10 east of Lafayette, there is a city of Henderson cop (speed trap) who sometimes parks on top of the basin bridge, about 250 yards east of where the bridge actually begins. This area is not in the city limits of Henderson and the cop has zero jurisdiction to write tickets there, but does anyway.
Here's why: The city of Henderson gets to keep revenue from all tickets 10mph or higher. Anything less than 10mph goes to the state. Were he is parked, the speed limit is reduced from 70 to 60 (10mph). Now you know the rest of the story.
