And yet, you are defending someone who didn't follow two of those rulings.
The cop became violent, there was no reason for him to become violent as the man was not combative. Argumentative, but not combative.
I dislike the police, as they have become militarized, and rarely even know the law.
My choice of actions has nothing to do with my opinions on the actions of another. Or are you of the impression that only strict adherence to a methodology allows for comparison and comment?

It appears that it did happen, but what the headline reads is pretty irrelevant.

There are legions of LEOs in America. In 2011, Seventy-Two were killed on duty.
Be interested to see where you got that.
Because the reality is more than double that.
And by percentage, it is about a third of the fatality rate during the US invasion of Iraq.
So how high of a number is needed until the job is "suitabily dangerous" for you. Just wondering.
Does it literally need to be comparable to a war zone to reach that point?

Truthfully, I don't expect anything from you.

By officers? Im sure there are cases of this, however most serve their citizens justly while protecting themselves. This is never understood from the citizen.

Then he asks to see proof and the cop says no.
They don't have to show proof at the time of the traffic stop.

Of course you do. At a minimum when telling lies on a message board you want attention. I guess I did comply with your wish there.

Both of them acted like assholes

so,you are of the belief the reason he was pulled from the car was because he told the cop he was recording him?
Let's get this on record.

but what the headline reads is pretty irrelevant.
I'm pretty sick of it.

So what the cop should have done?
Refused to give information after being repeatedly asked calmly. They guy wasn't even attempting to obtain them while talking.
Refused to step out of the vehicle after being asked multiple times.
The cop should have said that the guy called his bluff and walked away?
At the end of the day if someone doesn't do what you must insist they do, the result is always violence.

My point is that the only reason why this stop went badly is because the guy didn't do what was legally required of him, which is supported by the fact that he didn't do simple tasks that even your source site states you must do.

Why are you waiting until page five to argue this? The rest of the thread was spent by you saying the cop was right in doing it, but now you are shifting the target, saying that it is the spin of the incident that is wrong.

FYI - there are approximately eight hundred thousand sworn peace officers in America.

Police Officer Yanks Man From His Car & Arrests Him After Being Told He's Being Recorded!
How misleading. The cop seemed to have no problem with being recorded, but had a problem with a person suspected of a traffic violation not following lawful requests.
