Alright Demps, we know you read this board now so here's the deal:

A fellow PTer and good friend of mine has just convinced me that Demps does in fact read this board. We discussed last offseason about getting Asik, and look what happened. Not only that, but we also mentioned how great Demps would be if he could pull it off without giving up Anderson. So he goes and does that. Back in February I started a thread about Jimmer and last night Demps pulls off the move to bring him in. Now obviously he waited some time so he didn't make it look so plain and obvious to us that he reads our board.
So here's the deal guys: let's make a realistic list of guys that we want Dell to go after and Dell, because he seems to value our opinion so much, will make it happen. Now again, it must be realistic. No Lebrons, PGs, Melos.
I'll start us off and the most mentioned target is who we want Dell to pursue. Oh and thanks for reading Mr. Demps.
I'll go with Wilson Chandler, Denver Nuggets SF

I am not sold on Monty, but Dell has amassed quite a load of talent, and did it largely with slight of hand.
We just landed Asik and we gave up a shitty (hopefully) pick. We need a contribute at the 3, and time to gel.

The target, at this point, would have to be Khris Middleton.
6'8" SF - specialty is shooting; at best when it comes off an assist.
He makes $915,000 this coming year with a qualifying offer the following year for $1.1mil
Darius Miller and a future 2nd rounder for him? Contracts are similar…I know we just re-signed Miller but would the future 2nd be enough to get him from a team that just landed its future at SF in Jabari Parker? I think it would be..
Middleton is expendable right now and he's young, cheap and can shoot.
He's the target. Get him.

While reading the OP, I was thinking "Wilson Chandler Thread: NOW" And then I finished reading the OP and I just can't seem to locate my thunder. It was in here somewhere.

Gerald Green please, I want to see some highlight reel dunks and he shoots 3's for days.
A consolation prize would be Wilson Chandler or maybe Jared Dudley.

Monty will be evaluated this season when he actually has a NBA roster to work with.
Dell has done an amazing job making creative deals to get a great collection of talent here. No way should his job be on the hot seat at the moment.

OP's subtle brag on calling the Jimmer signing.

It would great to swing Khris Middleton. Exactly what me need.
Alright Dell that's at least 3 people so far. Make it happen.
PS. Danny Green would be nice. Great shooter and PER against when guarding SF's is very good according to 82games

Haven't thought about him much, but Danny Green would be nice, too. He's on the last year of his contract.

Gerald Green
Why is he so popular on here?
Does it not worry anyone that he didn't do much for 8 years and finally had a good year last year? And isn't he more of a 2 than a 3?
Or do we think he has it figured out now and he's going to be good every year going forward?
Anyways, I've just been surprised how much his name has popped up over the last week.
ETA: Not saying it's wrong to like Green, just trying to figure out why he's such a popular name around here.

Is Middleton realistic? What do we give up for him?
