SWANSEA
You definitly wont be called a bandwagon fan and for people new to European football you will quickly learn the fear of relegation.
But at the same time you will be witness to some attractive football.Plus this team is capable of major upsets just ask Man U how they were knocked out of the FA cup and see if those Chelsea fans remeber a certian incident with a swansea ball boy.
If you watched the World Cup you might have seen plaayers like De Guzman and Vorm for Netherlands and Bony for Ivory Coast.
Oh and Lord Voldermort plays on this team, so theres that too.
And if you want to know a little about the history of the club watch this, its about 40 mins but it is really well done and worth the watch.
LINK
Well guys (I mean etm) its time for the real talk.
Rumors of Michu, Bony, Davies and Pablo Hernandez leaving are making me nervous as shite.
Hopefully not being in Europa will allow us to improve our league preformance from last year.
I dont like the new logo but I like the red and black aways.
Im aiming for top 7 and an FA cup run if we keep our players

We are all bandwagon fans. I'm not from North London and never will be. Go Arsenal, driving the NOLA bandwagon.

Michu is probably already looking for an apartment in Naples
Bony is most likely gone. So with that Gomis is going to need to score a LOT of goals
Davies is most likely gone but Taylor is still there to step in
If Pablo also leaves we will get to know S much better in the championship threads
Having Emnes helps
De Guzman said he wants to come back
frick Shelvey
But objectively, this roster is just shite

Not really. Unless they are waiting on the Bony sale to get the cash needed to make some moves
ETA: Just saw where Ecuadorian winger Jefferson Montero is likely to sign. Also in for Bosnian MF Anel Hadzic.

I know this defies the popular opinion on this board, but I've never understood the reasoning of how geography plays a part in determining bandwagon fandom.
Maybe I'm missing the obvious, but if a new fan were to watch the EPL this year and decide that they enjoyed the way Burnley plays, most wouldn't jump to calling that person a bandwagon fan.

I think the point is that since no one (to my knowledge, besides engVol? and straight cash hommie) is from England, that we are all bandwagon fans. We have no formal geographic connection to the team. Much like 99% of Miami Heat fans were until a month ago.

Me and my buddy decided we don't care what people thinks we are picking Manchester United because we know the most people and how awesome the history and tradition and mascot is.
Speaking of when does epl start?

Fellaini days until opening day.
ETA: 31 for those non- cultured haters of Manchester United.

Technically that has nothing to do with bandwagoning. That's just an assumption many have made about sports. Banwagoning in the sense of fandom is joining a following that is deemed popular and has a quick growth. One could even apply banwagoning when becoming a fan of a local team because everyone around that area supports the team and you are following the trend.
The two principles of being a sports bandwagon fan to me are:
1) becoming a fan of a current successful team and/or player
2) jumping between teams declaring fandom i.e. Drake
For instance, with the current success that Man City has enjoyed, I see them gaining a large amount of fans around the world. Most, if not all, no matter where they are from, are bandwagoning. Now, if Man City were to suffer a fall like what Leeds went through, if those same fans ceased their fandom of Man City and jumped to another currently successful team, then they persist as bandwagon fans. If they stick with City through thick and thin though, then maybe that title should be lifted.
It's all quite trivial, really. I've just never understood the geographical correlation to sports bandwagoning.
