Parents who post pics of their children on Facebook

A friend of mine posted a long rant on her wall. Apparently she was banned for two days after someone reported her for indicent photos of a child. From her post, the pics in question are one of the kid (around 3 years old) nude from behind. The other is one of him in a bathtub from the chest up.
She is furious that she was reported for this and suspended for a few days. While I understand the innocence of these pics, they seem more appropriate for a family photo album, not the internet.
There are so many deviant, sick people who could see those pictures as something else and the thought of some sicko looking at pictures of my child online is enough to make my skin crawl.
She's arguing her right to post these pics, and I just don't agree, regardless of how innocent they are to her.
So what do the parents of the OT do? Post pics of your kids online? Even the "eventually embarrassing" baby photos?
And yes I'm sure the "delete Facebook" comment will be added, but this isn't my issue and I have no problem using Facebook.

You can get suspended from Facebook?
Wait a minute, people get really mad if they are suspended from Facebook?

Even if it is harmless, I am pretty firmly against photos of babies on Facebook solely based on the reason that not a fricking thing is sacred or private anymore and I don't believe that posting photos of your kids on FB could do anything but potentially bring you or them harm. A lot of fricking weirdos out there, if you want to share the photos, email them.

I think it's a bigger deal to post pics of your kids on Tinder.

She has to remember that some of those photos they put up on their Facebook could be considered child pron on someone else's computer.
If her Facebook is set to private and one of her friends reported her, she should reconsider those people and address them.

Im not taking sides
However i would like to point out this story as a "pandoras" box of problems when people fail to obey a common sense principle.
And that is....We have only one arse we can control ........our own.
When people start telling other people how to parent .....it violates that common sense. IMO
FWIW i wouldn't do that but i also have no horse in this race

I don't have kids, but my kids pictures will not be posted on Facebook. Maybe one or two a year but not picture after picture. We have to keep in mind that the internet is going to be around forever and it's way too easy for people to save shite. I'm sure my future children will thank me when they are 18 and there aren't pictures off their baby arse all over the web.

Post shot of 2 year old in tub: banned from Facebook.
Post shot of engorged exposed breasts while breast feeding: lauded as a women's rights pioneer.

I have set my own internal deadline for getting off of Facebook as when we start having kids.

I post pics of my daughter on FB. No naked ones though. My profile is private so only family and friends can see.
I post them so my family can see the pics. We dont live in the same city as any of our family. They constantly request to see pics.

I understand posting a picture here or there of your kid, milestones, birthdays, other special holidays, but some of these moms take it overboard.
Like the same selfie pic in the carseat once a week. Or your kid sleeping. Or just laying on the sofa. WTF is the point. He looks the same. You're capturing the same moment you capture every damn week. WTF!!!
