I think Fournette had more receiving yards than that. I believe he had 670+ just in his senior season.

As for the lofty comparison, I believe Fournette said he sees an All-American, Heisman candidate NC year in his freshman year. So to be fair, Fournette's putting some lofty expectations on himself.

High school numbers mean nothing when you step into the SEC and I think most LSU fans know that. But just because he's a freshman doesn't mean he can't come in and be awesome right away. If a player has it, I say put him in early as a freshman. You get the best talent out there and coach em up.

That's cool that their size and stats are similar, but it's totally meaningless. Neither the measurables nor the stats are rare. You can't measure the stuff it takes to make a truly great college and NFL back.

This shows both had outstanding high school careers that would be among the best that high school has ever produced.

Success at one level does not necessarily guarantee success at the next. That being said, any program like LSU has a roster year in and year out filled with players who were "among the best" at their respective high schools, BUT LF is among the best La has ever produced. He's about as "can't miss" as you can get. Still......show it at the next level LF. Tens of thousands think you can and are hoping you will.

what color do you think his suit will be for next year's heisman presentation? my money's on a blue checkerboard pattern. then, he'll probably wear a white tuxedo top to the draft, a mustard yellow suit for his nfl hall of fame induction speech (mustard yellow will be back in style then), and he'll close it out with a classic black suit for his funeral.

what're your guesses?

LF
512 carries 5036 = 9.8 yds per carry

AP
5011 with 498 carries = 10.06 yds per carry

Conclusion:
AP > LF

I'm gonna go ahead and take the obvious safe bet.. all day is all day for a reason.

I'm just hoping that LF can be as good as Hill was If we can get 3 more years of Jeremy Hill.. staaacckkkkedd

Gotta be kidding me. This is still a thread? This is crazy. I think Fournette will be a real good back for LSU. Until he does what Hill was able to do? I am not sold yet.
