Do you add propylene glycol to yours before you do it?

Why don't you inject it under the skin like you do with cattle?

The vet as Associated Vets in Baton Rouge gave me this for my rescue dog who had adult heart worms. They did a "slow kill". It worked in 6 months. This sounds much cheaper than Heartguard,

Had his checkup last week at the vet for everything. He's healthy as can be. Negative for heartworms. The trifexis sounds good, since it deals with fleas as well.

Trifixis appears to be ~ $100 per 6 doses (needs to be given monthly).

What they are suggesting seems like $40-$50 for 36 doses.

Thanks stout and downshift, et al.

No. Just 1/10 CC for every 10 lbs straight from the bottle.

IIRC because that can be fatal to the dog. I forget the exact reason but I had researched it before. It's out there if you Google it.

You can actually give it to your dog every day to help treat mange too. I was told by a vet to give it to one of my dogs every day for two weeks to help him get rid of mange. It worked.

Yea Stout isn't a very common name, especially in the South, so I get asked all of the time if I know so and so Stout or if I am related to them.

Normally I wouldn't have really thought about it but you were in using big medical words so I was like damn, maybe he's right that's him.

Trifexus. It's Heartworm, Flea, and one other thing mixed together.

Yeah, but then you have to buy Frontline or Comfortis for fleas, and it's retarded expensive too.

I don't know. Probably could do it by mouth with cows but if I had to guess nobody does because it's just much easier to poke em.

LL, I'm not sure if it's because if ivomec, but my dogs live outside and never get fleas. The only time I see them is on pups I haven't started worming with ivomec yet.
