quote:How do I describe? Slow, relatively speaking, but constant. Much slower compared to a commercial airliner. Took about 1-2 minutes to cross over.
On the real though, how fast were the objects moving

Damn I hate admitting this but I saw similar "things" in Alabama a couple of years ago. There were a shitload of them, no noise, a lot like you describe and I had the same thoughts...WTF?
It's one of those things in life you wish you could just un-see because it was freaky as crap but you didn't really care to say you ever saw them.

As you said earlier, pictures / video don't capture them well. They are bright against the night sky.
We usually launch some during Halloween when everyone's outside walking around. You can see them for miles.

I live about 30 miles from Ft Polk (Leesville), about 10 years ago they did some nighttime exercises and had some kind of light source that could light up an entire battlefield, for hours. Plenty of UFO calls were put into the local newspapers. Sounds pretty similar to what you are describing.

There is a guy who is on C2C a few times a week with updates and this sounds alot like some of his updates.

Yes! Same here with what I saw. It could have been those lanterns just caught up in the air currents but I just remember standing outside watching them go over, in a stream for about 5 minutes, and scratching my head wondering what the hades I was seeing...it was rather odd.

quote:They didn't really project that much light though. Shimmering bright, but not enough to illuminate the ground area.
