If there's one guy I expect to have the pulse of the US National Team, it's Fulham's coach.
Have we checked with the coach of FC Porto to get his thoughts?

Nah - he was brought over for a 10 game, pre-MLS loan a few years ago. He scored a few goals in some friendlies or cup games or something. Then when the Bundesliga resumed, he was up put top by himself in a 4-5-1, which shockingly, didn't produce results.

That's what I thought was funny about the whole thing.
It was seemingly unprovoked and just plain random. Besides, it's not like Donovan was even that critical.

Meant to upvote you sheep. Fat fingers and being on mobile for the loss.
I think it's a German standing up for a German thing. But
I agree with Donovan on how Bradley shouldn't have been shoehorned into the role he played. It also would have been nice to play two forwards.

Being stuborn cost JK, he clearly would have been a better choice than Davis. And I think Landon being absent hurt Bradley's game.
I don't think JK believed we were getting out of the group so he went with future players.

Felix Magath being an a-hole? Well...frick. Who would have guessed that?
Posted on 7/4/14 at 8:09 pm to Broski
Did he run that through Google Translate? That is all kinds of fricked up.

Yet Donovan was a starter at Everton. Fulham meanwhile gets to play in the Championship. This is pot meet kettle at best for this coach.

Magath is a professional a-hole. He also said he wouldn't take Neymar at his club even if he had the chance to sign him.

It's easy to say that when you know you'll never coach Neymar. This sounds like a slightly more professional version of a fat redneck on the OT claiming he wouldn't bang Kate Upton because she has chubby arms.

There's a reason everyone hates him.

Donovan is the definition of mediocre
Now a days. Before , not so much

He washed out at Bayer (the aspirin company, not Bayern, the region of Germany) Leverkusen. I wouldn't say he's mediocre. The fact that he was satisfied playing in MLS and not proving himself in the world's top leagues is a reflection of his character. I'm sure Klinsmann views it the same way.

He left Leverkeusen at 22.
Do you cast similar aspersions on Jozy for failing at Villareal or Michael Bradley for not sticking at Aston Villa?

I guess he's adored at Everton because he played with Tim Howard, right?
