I think it was Albert Richardson! Incredible LB and broke an ungodly number of helmets (his and others).

Maybe not the hardest but honorable mention to Loston. He would knock himself stupid sometimes.

Mark Roman. I still see that hit he put on that Tulane receiver. The guy was Offensive player in high school in LA. Then played 4 years in the LSU defensive backfield Then went off to a pretty good career in the NFL. just sayin.

I don't have any video, but Greg Jackson from the mid 80's could put a whoopin on anyone in free space. He would come out of nowhere from FS or SS position and level you.

The late Toby Caston deserves some love in this category.

Bradie James could lay the wood.

LSU has had some very physical receivers over the years. Michael Clayton could definitely hit for a wide receiver.

Steve Atwater, hated the team but dude would crack a helmet at least once a game

Now if you are talking Only LSU players, then Laron Landry would get my vote

Thought to be among the hardest hitters on the team as he broke over 30 of his own face masks and one helmet in collisions in practice or games during his career ...

Hardest hit ever goes to Odell Beckham Sr. He hit an Aggie ona pass play and I honestly thought the kid was dead. Totally legal hit but it was a collision.

Go to 1.20 .
