They've got some pretty strict laws regarding hunting such as no shooting from boat or vehicle, and in some areas, you can't fly and hunt the same day. To preventing people from spotting/harassing game from the air. Many places (not just AK) take strong measures to keep the sporting element in hunting.

How it should be everywhere and for every animal, IMO.

I just don't see the sport in setting up a high powered rifle on a tripod while inside a fenced area.
Track those frickers on foot for a few days, kill one, and make it out alive? Yeah...THAT'S sport to me.

Right because those are my only two options....

Or I could go to the zoo and look at them

They are making good money from these hunts. If they needed the meat, I'm sure they don't need a girl from Texas to provide it for them.

Before you label me...I'm a Deer Hunter.

That's silly.

My argument is that I'm not sure if I could feel as "accomplished" as she does. It's basically posing for a picture after catching he biggest catfish at the local catfish farm.

Right, because there is a big market for Jaguar, Lion and Zebra meat.
TD is far reaching, we even have a guy who has a pulse on the happenings of local African tribes.

I would never shoot these animals but if it is done legally I don't have a problem with it. An African Safari sounds like fun and would be a bucket list trip for sure. I would pick other animals than these though.

I shoot and kill hogs all the time for fun. 90% of the hogs I kill I just leave in the woods and the other 5% I take pictures with them and then leave them in the woods.
I only eat 5% of them (small ones for my gumbo).

Okay, maybe African tribes eat Jaguar, Lion and Zebra meat, I stand corrected.

Thank God we have people, like this Texas girl, to kill it for them.

No they don't.

Yes they do. They need to be protected against locals whoring out their natural resources, as has happened through out African history when foreigners with money showed up wanting something. Also they need to be protected from wealthy foreigners who want to create these places where anyone can kill as much of anything they want for a price.

Great job by her dad raising her right

My father taught me to be a sportsman and how to enjoy hunting GAME ANIMALS that we would eat. Not that I have some right to kill whatever animal I please anywhere in the world because I have the wallet to force poor people to whore out their resources.

Doesn't add inches to your dick.
