World Cup has brought me into fold. I see where EPL games are all on nbc family.
How in the world do I pick a team to cheer for? Is Man U the equivalent of the Yankees or similar? Hated by most?
I have no way to pick one or even a few to follow?
I need aid. Tia

Watch a few games and see what you like. Do you like specific players from the WC? That could be a start.

Tottenham Hotspur is the club for you.
You will never be called a bandwagoner because they always disappoint. Lots of talent, sometimes it even shows.
Lots of great history. Pull the trigger.

Watch games and see what style of play, players and coaches you like.

I am in same boat as OP. Is there a flowchart or a quiz for me to choose?
Or which team right now is the up and coming team to jump on the bandwagon before everyone else does?

don't pick a shite team because they will never be on TV. pick one of the top 5 or so teams from the past few years' rankings. Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, etc. Tottenham is a good one, as mentioned previously.

There's toooooo many teams. I just pick EPL because of Doctor Who and Sherlock and the games being on TV.

Crystal Palace. Good place to eat in Disney World.

Who are the most famous players over there, the best?
Posted on 6/30/14 at 8:14 pm to Lacour
The best players are spread across around 15 or so of the top teams in Europe.
Honestly the best advice anyone can give you is just to watch. You'll figure out who you like or dislike pretty quickly.

We're the new money assholes and you won't need a rabies vaccination if you ever run into our star striker.

This is a few years old and a lot of it is no longer accurate, especially considering relegation has changed some of the teams. But it's still a decent read.

So he should support a team that always disappoints?
To OP: let me give you the cold hard truth. In soccer, there is no draft. There are the top clubs, and then there are the others. The clubs that are on top now, for the most part, will be on top for a long, long time.
Bottom line is you will enjoy soccer more if you support a team that consistently competes for domestic and Champions League titles. No disrespect to Everton, Tottenham, etc...but those aren't elite clubs. Man U, Man City, Chelsea...those are elite clubs. People might give you some shite for "bandwagoning" but ultimately you will have a blast following those clubs.
I started supporting Chelsea back in 2007, yes I got shite for bandwagoning at the time, but I've loved watching them compete in the Champions League year in and year out, it's an experience you will never have if you support a lesser club. So choose who you want to choose, but just keep that in mind

I picked Liverpool years back because I thought it was a good name for a team. Started following them regularly. I like my choice
