a beignet stand on Freret or Magazine St. in Uptown. If I had time, I'd open one up.

A better gastric by-pass.
This one would let you eat and drink as much as you want. You just throw the bag away at the end of the night.
You never get fat.

Cremation business. There aren't enough cemetaries to bury all of the baby boomers. Only alternative is cremation.

Just because someone has done it before doesn't mean it has no more potential. If the market is big enough and there are too few providers, there's more business to be had.

Well since you led off with panderers to the lazy how about an inhome masturbation service where women drive around in panel trucks going to homes to beat off people too lazy to do it themselves?

The legal weed market is exploding and will continue to do so as each state legalizes.

The mattress industry needs disruption. As does furniture in general.
I also think TV content consumption/delivery is desperate for construction.
Real estate is also ripe for disruption IMO.

this ... funeral business in general needs to be blown up ... good bit of crony state regs need to be repealed, but anything dealing with baby boomers is good ...

Not sure if you were trying to funny or serious, but I can for sure say there is some truth to this regarding furniture.
My wife is an interior designer, and the time it takes to get a custom sofa delivered is ridiculous right now. Tons of companies have gone out of business, the ones that survived are completely back logged, lower line stores have reduced inventory, etc. She only carries a couple of high end/custom lines, and has been doing really well on the furniture side, which is an pretty new phenomenon for her.

Pizza and beer delivery, I used to do it in the 80s.
Anything that people can get right now without leaving their house or getting out of their cars would make money. Start building drones.

In college, I really wanted to have a delivery beer/liquor, cigarette, and drinking game service (like cards, solo cups, ping pong balls). Also would pick up fast food for people.
I think in Oxford, MS where DUIs are handed out so frequently, that people would pay a premium for that service. Hell, even without the alcohol people would pay out their arse for it drunk after the bar.
And that is a small business idea. I have much bigger business ideas that I will not share on the internet
Mattress and furniture industry DOES need a kick in the arse though. I love that idea.
