That's not quite as egregious as past lists that I remember. I don't see McDonald's at least, and 5 Guys didn't win.

The only absolutely awful one on the list was:
Best BBQ, TJ Ribs :yak:
The others were ones that at least would be in the conversation as being the best in their genre.

Superior may be loud, crowded, and overpriced, but they make the best flank steak I've ever had.

Honestly, I probably need to give Superior another try. Growing up here I always thought Ninfas and Superior were great Mexican, I then moved to the west coast for 5 years and came back and thought Ninfas was god awful. Haven't been back to Superior in a few years, like you said I just hated the crowds and prices.

I think Burgersmith >> Five Guys or Dearman's... so they at least got that right.
I'd take Fleming's, Mason's, or Roul's over Burgersmith though.

I haven't tried Fleming's or Mason's, but I definitely agree that Raul's is better. However, it's not so much better that I can't see where they're coming from with that opinion.

City Pork - ok i agree here

Fleur De Lis - ok could agree here
Runners-up:
(9.4%) Rotolo's Pizzeria - pizza is meh to below meh
(8.2%) Pastime Restaurant - frozen crust, this place is not good. PERIOD
(7.7%) Red Zeppelin Pizza - awesome, should have won
(7.4%) Mellow Mushroom - decent
