Never been before, where's the best fishing in Louisiana and guide recommendations? Looking to go in the next couple months.
Or if some of the OB brethren would like to volunteer?
TIA
Decided to try my luck in the Corpus/Port Aransas area ,next weekend, hope to update with pics soon after. Going with some guys at work.
He kept asking if he was hung on a rock.
But it was this fellow! 25" He was pumped!
We had a good time, I think we ended up with 18 keeper trout and 1 red.

Where will you be driving from, or does distance not matter? Do you have a budget?

Anywhere from Lake Sabine to the Pearl River

Capt ST will take you kingfishing. Delicious fare.

I live in central Louisiana.
I don't want to spend a fortune but I ain't broke neither. I don't know, what's a normal trip cost?

Inshore would probably run you around $500 for 4 people...

Coming from CENLA, just call the Poes. Never had a bad trip with them.

Offshore will usually cost you 3-4K with gas, tip included. 6 people max

Everyone's got their own opinion, but if I'm paying someone to take me fishing then we're leaving out of Venice. Little further drive but well worth it.

This
We just finished the house, I haven't been any kind of fishing since we started the damn thing.
This would be a trip for me, my son, a buddy, and his boy.
