Hello Everyone,
just starting MADM 701 with Dr Kungu this week and wanted to get some ideas how others have approached the class.
I understand there will be weekly reading (2 chapters from the assigned text) forum posts, papers and exams.
Can anyone please elaborate on how they managed the work and time?
Suggestions and comments are greatly appreciated.

Hello, thanks for all the feedback. I hope to complete this program with flying colors as well. I was wondering how you studied for his exams since they were tricky? I will be taking Samuel Wyatt this fall, and I am a bit nervous because I planned to take Michel Meeks, but he doesn't teach during the particular session. '

LSUS provides Skype and possibly MS Teams. Some people like Zoom or Google Hangouts.

I took her in Summer AP2 2019. The questions are normally only from the book. The extra reading is just for your enjoyment :)
NOTE: The chaos you're seeing now will not abate in the least. It will continue full steam ahead. I've been in IT/IS for my entire 30-year professional career and I love it, but I absolutely hated everything about her class. I wish you the best, but my advice would be to drop the class if you can and take it in another session with a different professor (ANY OTHER PROFESSOR would be better than Dr. Lind).

Neither school is in the top 20 business schools, so it really doesn't matter. Go whichever route is easiest and cheapest (I think LSUS wins on this front in most cases.)

What you need to do is keep going back to registration and trying again. LOTS of people drop classes after scheduling them. If you only look in the first week that registration is open, you'll find that everything is booked. Keep checking back and you'll see lots of classes open up.

I am in the class with Yu Bai (ACCT725) . Seems straightforward so far, lots of good information. Homework is not tricky so hopefully tests are the same. Seems fair at this point anyways

I'm planning on starting my first class 7/6, currently pending director review but don't see a reason why I wouldn't be admitted. Was curious if you tell others you go to LSU or if you specify LSUS. Also how would you list it on a resume? Do you list it as Louisiana State University or do you specify Shreveport?
