MADM715 The test wasn't bad. I continue to be frustrated by the policy of not showing what we get wrong.
(updated since I took my test)
Check your student email and the forum posts on moodle. It appears that installing, and, if needed, the removal and re-installation of proctorio with windows defender turned off solves the issue.
I had to remove my old (used 2 weeks ago) proctorio extension and re-install with the defender anti-virus stuff turned off (I just flipped all the switches under virus and threat protection off and then on after I re-installed the extension).

Did you have trouble with the exam link? Except for the title, my module exam 1 page is totally blank. There are no instructions and no link to attempt quiz.

Took Heller for undergrad leadership. Seems like a LOT of work up front, but not bad afterall. easy to follow, learned a ton. Gives you tons of help and extra material. Would recommend too anyone.

Great start to MKT 705 Module 2. Module is open, but there's nothing listed under it. Got to love new professors and growing pains/incompetence.

Alright people, April 9th is the first day to register for summer classes as you may already know. I have put MKT701 off as long as possible and will be taking it AP1. AP2 will be my 10th and final course, I need to pick from the following:
MKT710 - Darrat
MADM751 - Meeks
MADM710 - Williams
ISDS715 - Hennigan
FIN710 - Hsieh
Any suggestions from this list? Thanks.

Anything with Meeks is recommended. I've heard great things about his MADM 751 course. It's set up similar to how his MADM 760 course is. If you enjoyed it or felt like it was easy, which it was, I would suggest finishing up with it.

I'll be in MKT701 Summer AP1 with you, it's my last class, so I have no other options.
Based on the list of courses, go with Meeks. MADM751 is one of the best courses I took in the program. If you had him for 760, the format is almost identical, but I enjoyed the class even more than 760.

Im in 760 with Meeks this term and really like how the class is structured. How long does he usually take to grade the Team PPT/Videos and skill builders?

I can't believe I wasted a night of studying to attend the Utah game. :(

I took Meeks's 760 class Fall AP2 and he graded pretty fast, I would say, by Wed/Thurs grades were posted.

For those in Meeks' 760 class - I've found that watching his videos at 1.5x or 1.75x makes them more interesting. Of course they finish sooner as well. It remains to be seen if I remember anything. To change the speed on his videos, click the gear icon on the bottom right corner.

Good Idea Jason, I will try that.

So how many of you have read all of the ISDS 705 material, some or none?

I feel guilty that I have not even cracked open the text...

This is for the main LSU campus in Baton Rouge, but y'all be careful.
"LSU students using GroupMe for class could be in violation of Code of Student Conduct"
Groupme (and other social apps) can be an immensely valuable tool, especially for students trying to connect with classmates in online programs where the opportunities to interact with each other are more limited. Like any communication tool, it can obviously be used for ill as well. My concern is when faculty label something "cheating" without adequate evidence of it. I'm not saying that's what happened in the story above but I know how people can be unfairly lumped together when accusations like this start up.

In early March, students started to leave group chats, and some groups were outright deleted when rumors surfaced that some students were contacted by LSU's office of Student Advocacy & Accountability (SAA) regarding cheating in group chats.

Unless I missed it, has there been any discussion of ECON 705 with White? From my perspective, it's been a complete train wreck, with sub par materials and practically nothing in the way of teaching. There have been several instances of the professor arguing with students in the forums over the wording and/or content of test questions. One student has mentioned that over 25% of the class has withdrawn already.

25%? Wow that’s terrible. Hate it for those still enrolled in the course!
Posted on 3/23/18 at 8:00 pm to Jeaux Cool
I don't know where the info is coming from or whether it is accurate. I'm going to try and hold out until the withdrawal date and make the call then. I've never submitted an assessment on a course before, but I'll be doing it with this class.
