Not to mention they are just sitting by the front door of a 7-11 loitering and begging, which 7-11 seems to not give a flying shite about, regardless of the no loitering signs.
Those no loitering signs are just that, signs. They arent trespassing on private property.

Just because the Supreme court ruled it, doesn't make it right. I don't believe in that. I have a philosophical difference between what they think cops should do and what I think cops should do.

I don't even know how to respond to that. I find it to be a tremendous nuisance.

Then what is even the point of having the sign, is it for show? They would work if their lazy arse employees would enforce it, but they don't give a shite because they are gas station workers and want to do the bare minimum (at least at the ones I go to).

Then the bringing it out in public and infringing on others should be illegal. Not the drug.
Yea maybe if it were something not so dangerous like weed or alcohol.

Do you know how many things fall under this category? That is a dangerous slippery road to go down.
Again, it's about how dangerous the substance is. Leaving your private residence and giving alcohol or weed to a kid has the consequences of a drunk or high kid in most cases. Leaving your private residence and providing heroin to a kid can very easily end in death. There are some things that just don't need to be legal.
And I know the DWI death argument is coming so let me just address that right here. People driving under the influence of heroin would also lead to many deaths. We have laws against DUI. I'm not talking about what you do while on drugs.. but the actual effects of the drugs themselves on a person.

No. But I think if I were homeless I would just move into the woods somewhere and try to be self sustaining.

That's what a good bit do, or at least that's where they sleep. If you're bored one day you can pull up satellite images of BR and search through just about any of the small wooded areas inside the city limits and see campsites.

Trying to be self sustaining in woods around Baton Rouge sounds miserable. What do you do, try to trap squirrels and cats, fish for bream, and eat blackberries in June?

Depends on how much alchohol you give them. If you give a 16 year old a fifth of evervlear and he chugs the bottle he can die.

Depends on how much heroine you give the kid. Heroine doesnt instantly kill people.

Again, making the argument that either it and alcohol should be illegal or legal. Not one or the other. You dont get to pick and choose which drugs you think are safer on society. That's the point.

Have you ever seen an alcoholic?

Completely disagree. And that's your point?
Alright that's it for me. It's been fun.

i do. frick the homeless. they have shelters so there is no need to be homeless. GTFO of the street and quit blocking my way.
Posted on 6/17/14 at 12:28 pm to Breesus
holy hell. this is one of the most thoroughly idiotic ideas i've ever heard.
Posted on 6/17/14 at 12:28 pm to Breesus
Yes. I'm sick of seeing them laying around. If they would bathe and put on some decent clothes that match it wouldn't be so bad. First offense- six months. Second offense-one year. Third offense-life

There are no good looking homeless women: fact

All you seem to be arguing for is that heroine (which will never go away) be supplied, completely unregulated, by black market dealers.
If your 14 year old daughter wants to try some heroine, getting it from a dealer is gonna be 10x easier than getting it from a licensed retailer.

Pretty much this. OP should quit already since he looks like a complete fool
Posted on 6/17/14 at 12:56 pm to Breesus
I'm only halfway through the thread, but I hope the OP was being satirical and has since revealed what his actual point is
Posted on 6/17/14 at 12:57 pm to Breesus
And not a single up vote was given that day
Posted on 6/17/14 at 12:58 pm to Breesus
could we just create a homeless island and put them all there?
Posted on 6/17/14 at 1:13 pm to TheIndulger
Such laws are not constitutional.
Posted on 6/17/14 at 1:16 pm to Breesus
My boy Elliuth says to go frick yourself, OP.
