Or do anything special on Father's Day.

My stepmom is the one driving the get-togethers these days. My dad is satisfied with a phone call.

In, my father is dead and I don't have any kids. I am thinking that the strip club could be fun today, it usually is on Fathers Day!

Haven't seen my actual dad in like 20 years. My grandpa was my dad to me.

I call him on his birthday and Father's Day. I see him 2 hours a year at Christmas. We have nothing to talk about. I mean nothing.

As he's been buried since 1989 I really don't want to "see" him. (Dad)

I have great kids who all are home for Father's Day. WIN

I have a FIL who is trending badly as he moves through his late 70s. I get to visit him this afternoon and make small talk.

It can be hard to be positive around him and supportive to him.

Cheers to all here, especially those with tough domestic situations, I realize mine is not bad.

Well, the man who raised me from 2 years old died last year, and I broke contact with my biological father long ago, so I guess I'll join this depressing thread.

I do have my kids with me, so it's not so bad, other than shitty weather.

I had a great relationship with my dad, but he died almost 20 years ago. I miss him everyday.

For those of you with little to no relationship with your father, whatever the reason, either on purpose or not, I'm sorry. That has to be tough.
