My neighbors are in his SAG wagon. Following on her facebook page.
The website has a live positioning tracker.
If you happen to be in Hammond, the Subway by the mall is donating 10% of all sales today to Disposable Heroes.

I'm not trying to diminish the guy or anything, but people run 100+ mile races all the time. There are hundreds of them and they get full within 24 hours.
I was gonna post the same thing. A buddy of mine ran 100 miles to a 100 mile race, then completed the race. Same guy ran around Lake Ponchartrain (143-ish miles) in about 36 hours just for shits and giggles.

Well hopefully this go round he keeps it more about the charity, and not about his crossfit gym that he plugged every chance he got the first time he ran.

If this is true, not cool. I know he absolutely loves all the attention he is getting, who wouldn't? But I have no doubt that he is doing this for all the right reasons.

Seen him coming out of point ala hache yesterday

He is doing for the right reasons, and I even went to Hammond on the last run he did to finish it; but I read some quotes last time, in both the news and his Facebook, about crossfit this... Crossfit that. It just seemed off when I thought he shouldve been all about the guys and the charity, not plugging crossfit and his gym.

It's sad when the "Frozen Look A-Like Girl" thread has like quadruple the amount of posts than this one in half the time

I support the DHP not only because its a great, local cause, but their tshirts are awesome. Seriously, most comfortable shirts I own. I think I have four

Good thing you weren't trying to diminish him, because it would have been an unsuccessful attempt.

In high school at STA, I didn't always think to highly of him. Seemed like he was an arse, but didn't know him well. The things he has done in the marines and after getting home is pheonominal. I know some people don't like his crossfit stuff or his political views, but the man is pure passion. Everything he does, he does with a full passion for succeeding. In a few more years, it would not surprise me to see him run even longer.

I haven't spent much time with Brad since grade school, but I love his brother to death, and I respect the hell out of what Brad does. If he can raise thousands of dollars for veterans and operate a successful NPO dedicated to helping them, I think he deserves a plug or two for his business every now and then.
And FWIW to everyone else, there hasn't been one mention of anything but DHP during this event, as far as I can tell.

I never realize how many Hammond folk we have here on TD

On Facebook, brad will sometimes post letters from marines or their family members writing/emailing him. You can clearly hear the gratitude they show for him and that organization.

He has reached the 100 mile mark and it seems they are pushing him in a wheelchair right now. Word has it, he has stress fractures in both ankles. Says he won't quit though.

You could tell he was annoyed that he couldn't keep going in the video, but he definitely kept the optimism strong with making it about awareness and finishing as a team.

That's incredible. Makes me want to go put up some money and go help.
Edit: Going to buy one of the shirts right now.
