You'd be shocked at the number of people that don't know the calories or fat content in Ranch Dressing. More often than not, Ranch dressing is easily equal to the calorie content of the rest of your salad and double the fat content.
.....French fries are vegetarian......vegan and vegetarian are way different.

Fat shaming has been one of the better developments in years for our society

Didn't read the thread, but I'm willing to bet at least one of the fat fricks tried to rationalize their behavior by the fact that they had attempted to go on some sort of retarded "only water and broccoli" diet for a few days and their body did not respond well to it.
I love the ones who say they improving their diet can't/won't help because that one time when they didn't lose much weight after going on a ~500 cal/day diet for a few days. Like yea, frick doing something tried and true and healthy because that one time that I did something really stupid and unhealthy didn't work!

I use ranch on my salads usually. But I typically use the serving size...2-4 tbsp or so. Not half a cup

I don't see where it has made any positive improvment on the lives of people who are over weight.
You can be nice to the person. You can be mean to the person. You can shower them with motivaton, or throw cruel remarks theirway. Nothing will change unless the person wants to change.

And for some people people it is a lot easier to lose weight.
Unfortunately obesity is a complex issue. There are multiple factors that contribute to weight gain and the ability for one to lose weight. Much of it can simply be boiled down to time and effort.
You also need to understand that not everyone was blessed with a great metabolism. If you were not, then you have to make smarter choices. This may also include more time spent exercising.
A lot of people give up on a workout plan because it is a time commitment that cuts in on a busy schedule. Furthermore, they may simply not enjoy exercising, even after losing weight. This often contributes to people gaining weight again after meeting their goals.
Eating healthier isn't always difficult, but sometimes it can take a lot of will power to fight through cravings and not feeling full. It is often better to eat things you crave in moderation while filling up on healthy choices.

exactly
ETA: many of these people experience psychological issues where food intake increases dopamine in their systems.....they feel better when they eat, so the addiction is born.
Take away the mental issues for some of them, then they could find it easier to eat properly.
That said, not all of them suffer depression and such and are straight up slugs, but life is complicated fellas.

You're 100% right.
I work with a fatass that says it wouldnt make any difference to him if he was fat or not.
I work with another fatass that fatshames the other fatass because he is in denial about his own obesity which is always hilarious.

That was pretty funny. I will never understand why some people that are that big live in denial of their poor health and blame it on other things than fat.
Our country has steered everyone towards the "no accountability" mindset for the past 15-20 years. So these fat people are not going to just up and say I am fat, and it's because I am a lazy frick who eats twinkies and mcdonald's everyday. They are going to blame it on society, and everyone else instead of looking at themselves it the mirror.

I'm pretty sure this is true for everyone.
ETA: That's not a "psychological issue."

What is worse? Being fat, poor, or dumb?
How would you prioritize these characteristics:
Intelligence
Financial stability
Bodily health

If that's the question, I guess I would go:
Financial stability
Intelligence
Bodily Health
It's a tough one though.

No, your personal priority, what you would desire for yourself.

I love being skinny

I can't believe that Fat Activism is prevalent enough to actually garner a debate on television. You're happy with being fat? Awesome! It definitely isn't anything that is uncontrollable though, scientifically that's the truth. How can they even try to deny that?
