I never liked politicians using commencement addresses to make policy speeches. It is a day for the graduates, not for outlining policy. It just seems...crappy.

if anybody has the ability to steal the limelight from others it's Obama. That narcissists SOB is not capable praising anyone without making everything about him.

Absotively, posilutely.

Here are the next leaders of our fantastic military being forced to listen to a f'in campaign speech as if they were a bunch of union thugs.

What a total Piece of shite.

I haven't listened to much of the speech, but one line I did hear bothered me.

Obama:
quote:

"Here's my bottom line: America must always lead on the world stage. If we don't, no one else will."

That just strikes me as grossly naive or dangerously mistaken. The notion that no one else would try to lead the world in our absence is crazy talk to me.

Very telling reception, but I am sure Barry will not get the message, nor care

It'll make him resent the military even more if thats possible. Look for the hammer to come down on the CO's there. Obama enjoys getting even and wearing his hatred on his sleave.

Respect is earned. Obama has nothing to earn my respect. Therefore I don't respect him as our president.

That said, I'd be hard pressed to find any politician I respect. Maybe Justin Amash.

Other that that, i can't stand pretty much anyone in our current federal government.
